Bridging Worlds: Tribal began with a clear purpose: bridging the everyday mainstream world with the experiences of those living beyond traditional boundaries. We recognize that fear and alarm often stem from unfamiliarity. Our mission is to make the unfamiliar, familiar.
A Simple Need: The inspiration for Tribal sparked from a personal need – the absence of a simple greeting card to express love for a same-sex partner. This gap in the market is not just an inconvenience; it's a symbol of unequal representation. Our goal is to make such simple acts of love and recognition as easy for LGBTQ+ individuals as they are for non-LGBTQ+ people.
Equality Through Visibility: We believe in the power of visibility to foster equality. Seeing LGBTQ+ lives and loves reflected in everyday items like greeting cards can diminish prejudice and promote acceptance. Our vision is rooted in the idea that regular exposure to diverse experiences leads to greater empathy and understanding.
The Tribal Message: At Tribal, our message is about connection and equality. We understand that humanity shares more similarities than differences. We are all part of various tribes, yet these tribes are interconnected. We envision a world where everyone realizes they are part of One Inclusive Tribe.
